A safe home will be a saleable home
You should consider the benefits of being able to document the safety of your home when placing it on the market. Any potential buyer's mortgage lender is likely to require evidence of a working central heating system, when the boiler was last serviced and whether any other gas appliances in the home have recently been safety checked. Our Home Sellers Heating Inspection can be combined with a full Boiler Service a Gas Safety Check or any of our other services, such as an Electrical Installation Condition Report. A prospective purchaser may view your home more favourably knowing all the essential gas and electrical safety checks have been done. The only way to be safe, is to be sure
When purchasing a property it is essential to check that a Boiler Service Maintenance Record, a current Gas Safety CP12 Certificate and an Electrical Installation Condition Report is attached to the property. Your mortgage lender is likely to require evidence that these vital safety checks have been completed because they are not generally included in a surveyors report. It may also cost a considerable amount of money to replace an old, inefficient and even potentially dangerous central heating system or to re-wire the whole house - but it could cost you your life if you don't. Sadly, there are approximately 50 deaths a year due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning and over 20 caused by electric shock, all of them potentially preventable. You can't see, taste or smell Carbon Monoxide and you can't see the condition of the electric circuits but you can see the reports if these important safety checks have been carried out.
